What Can You Arrange For Recycling Pickup?

Different materials need different destinations, and acceptance depends on the item, its condition and the receiving facility. Tell us about electronics and appliances before collection. Keep paint, fuel, chemicals, loose batteries and other special wastes out of the ordinary junk pile. Do not open or dismantle an item to make it fit; describe it or send a photo first.

Usable furniture may be suitable for donation, while recyclable materials need a facility that accepts them. Condition, contamination and facility requirements affect the outcome. A pickup does not guarantee donation, a recycling certificate or that every item avoids disposal. Discuss any documentation you need before booking.

Recycling pickup is a quoted hauling service. Do not assume scrap value covers the pickup. Send photos, your city and access details so we can confirm the cost before loading.
Can you pick up electronics with other junk?
Tell us exactly which electronics you have before booking. Electronics may need separate handling and an appropriate receiving facility. We confirm acceptance for the job instead of promising that every device can go in the same load.
How do I get rid of an old TV for free in Los Angeles?
Not in the trash: LA Sanitation says electronics should never go in the trash or recycling bins. City of Los Angeles residents can book a free curbside pickup for a large TV or monitor through MyLA311 or 1-800-773-2489, or drop electronics at a S.A.F.E. Center. Will everything be recycled?
No blanket guarantee is possible. Material type, condition, contamination and facility acceptance determine whether an item can be reused, recycled or needs disposal. Ask about your specific items before pickup.
