How Our Pricing Works

No mystery, no bait-and-switch. Here's exactly how junk removal gets priced and what goes into the number we give you.

Junk Removal Is Priced By Volume

The industry standard — and how we do it — is by how much space your stuff takes up in the truck. Not by the hour, not by the item, not by a number pulled out of the air. If your load fills a quarter of the truck, you pay a quarter-load price.

Two things adjust that baseline:

  • Labor. A pile sitting in the driveway is faster than the same pile in a back bedroom on the third floor with no elevator. Carrying costs time, and time is real.
  • Weight. Concrete, brick, dirt, roofing tile and similar material is extremely heavy for its size. Trucks have legal load limits and dump sites charge by the ton, so heavy debris prices by weight instead of volume.

What's Already Included

The number we quote you is the number you pay. It covers:

  • All the labor and loading — you don't move anything
  • Driving to the site and hauling it away
  • Landfill, transfer station and recycling fees
  • Sorting for donation and recycling
  • Sweeping up the space when we're done

There's no separate fuel surcharge, no disposal fee tacked on at the end, no per-item add-on you find out about while we're loading.

Load Sizes

What Each Load Size Looks Like

Rough guide so you know what ballpark you're in before you call.

Minimum Load

A few items

One couch. A fridge. A mattress and box spring. A small curbside pile. Every company has a minimum — it costs the same to drive out either way.

Quarter Load

One small room

A bedroom set. A packed closet plus a few pieces of furniture. A light garage tidy-up.

Half Load

Garage or storage unit

A full two-car garage. A 10×10 storage unit. A living room and dining room's worth of furniture going at once.

Full Load

Whole property

A house cleanout. An estate. A hoarding job. Bigger properties run multiple loads — we'll tell you how many when we quote.

Not sure which one you're looking at? Text a photo and we'll tell you in a couple of minutes.

Pricing Questions

Why isn't there a price list on this website?

Because a price list would be a guess, and you'd find out it was wrong when we showed up. A garage that looks half full from the driveway can be packed six feet deep. Two identical couches price differently if one is on the ground floor and one is up three flights. We look, we tell you the number, you decide.

Is the quote really free?

Yes. We come out, look at the job and give you a price. If you don't like it, we leave and you owe nothing. There's no trip charge for a quote.

Can the price go up once you start?

Not unless the job changes. If you agree on a price for the garage and then decide the shed should go too, that's more work and we'll re-quote it before touching it. What we don't do is quote low, get halfway through and then find reasons to add fees.

What forms of payment do you take?

Call or text (442) 414-3483 and ask — we'll tell you what we can take for your job. Commercial customers can be invoiced.

Do you charge extra for stairs or a long carry?

Heavy labor is part of what you're paying for, and we build it into the number we give you. That's exactly why we want to know about the third-floor walk-up before we quote, not after.

Is a dumpster rental cheaper?

Sometimes, if you have weeks and you're doing the loading yourself. A dumpster means a permit in many Southern California cities if it sits on the street, it takes up your driveway for days, and you do all the lifting. We're usually the better answer when you want it done in one visit and you don't want to touch any of it.
