For a useful quote, send a photo of the whole hot tub, its approximate dimensions and several pictures of the route to the loading area. Include gates, steps, narrow side yards, corners and any overhead restrictions.
A freestanding tub beside a driveway is a different job from a tub built into a deck or surrounded by landscaping. Tell us about any built-in surround and which nearby structures must remain untouched.
Utility Connections Need To Be Addressed First
Explain whether the hot tub is still connected to power or plumbing and whether it contains water. Do not cut wires, disconnect hardwired equipment or start dismantling the tub to prepare for our visit. Discuss the situation first and arrange any required utility work with an appropriately qualified professional.
Our removal quote should not be taken as a promise of electrical, plumbing or structural work. If utility preparation is needed, confirm who is handling it and when it will be complete before a removal appointment.
Agree On Exactly What Is Being Removed
Tell us whether the job includes the tub, cover, steps or other loose accessories. Decking, a concrete pad, fencing and landscaping are not automatically part of a hot tub removal. Discuss those items separately if you want them included.
Some setups need disassembly to reach the exit. We assess access and discuss the removal plan instead of assuming every tub can be carried out intact. See light demolition for related projects.
What Affects The Removal Quote?
Size, construction, weight, access and any agreed disassembly affect the work. There is no flat dollar amount that covers every setup. We confirm the price before work begins; our pricing page explains the approach.
Have other items on the patio that should go at the same time? Include them in the photos so they can be considered in the original scope. Furniture and general yard clutter can be discussed as part of the same request.

What if the hot tub will not fit through the gate?

Does hot tub removal include the deck or concrete pad?
