Appliance Removal Across Southern California

Fridges, washers, dryers, stoves, water heaters and A/C units — carried out of wherever they're sitting and taken to scrap recycling, not dumped.

Old Appliances Are Heavier And Meaner Than They Look

A side-by-side refrigerator can run over 300 pounds. A cast-iron-drum washer is worse. Add a narrow hallway, a doorframe you'd rather not gouge and a flight of stairs, and this becomes the kind of job that ends with a hurt back and a scratched floor.

That's the part we're for. We bring appliance dollies, straps and floor protection, and we take the unit out the way it came in — without leaving a trail of damage behind it.

What we haul

  • Refrigerators, freezers and wine coolers
  • Washers, dryers and stacked laundry units
  • Stoves, ovens, ranges and cooktops
  • Dishwashers, microwaves and range hoods
  • Water heaters (tank and tankless)
  • Window A/C units, portable A/C and dehumidifiers
  • Trash compactors and garbage disposals
  • Small kitchen appliances in bulk
Disconnection: we can take out an appliance that's already unhooked, and we can handle straightforward unplugging and water-line disconnects. Anything involving gas lines or hard-wired electrical should be shut off and disconnected by a licensed plumber or electrician before we arrive. Tell us what you've got when you call and we'll say plainly which category it's in.

Where Appliances Actually Go

Appliances are mostly steel, aluminum and copper, and there's an established recycling stream for all of it in Southern California. Units we pick up go to scrap recycling wherever possible rather than straight to landfill. Refrigerators and A/C units contain refrigerant that has to be recovered by a certified processor before the metal can be recycled — we take those to facilities set up to do exactly that.

If an appliance is still in working order, tell us. Working units can often go to donation instead of scrap.

New Delivery Coming?

Retailers will sometimes haul away the old unit — and sometimes they'll only do it if it's already disconnected and sitting in the garage, or they'll charge more than we do, or they won't take a second unit. If the delivery crew leaves your old fridge in the driveway, call us and we'll come get it.

Questions

Appliance Removal Across Southern California FAQ

Can you take just one appliance?

Yes. A single fridge or washer is a normal call for us. It'll fall under our minimum load price — ask when you call and we'll tell you exactly what it is.

Do you disconnect it?

Simple unplugging and water-line disconnects, yes. Gas lines and hard-wired electrical need a licensed plumber or electrician to shut off and disconnect before we get there.

Is it recycled or does it go to the dump?

Appliances are scrap metal, and we take them to recycling wherever we can. Fridges and A/C units go to processors who recover the refrigerant properly first.

It's in the basement / upstairs / behind the house. Still fine?

Fine. That's what the dollies and straps are for. Mention the stairs or the tight hallway when you call so we bring the right gear and quote it accurately.

Ready For A Clutter Free Space?

One call and it's gone. Tell us what you've got and we'll give you an upfront price before we lift a finger.
